Baby Leo Wants to Sleep, But His Mother Tries to Train Him

Baby Leo rubbed his tiny eyes, feeling sleepy as the soft glow of the moon filled the nursery. He let out a big yawn, stretching his chubby arms. All he wanted was to snuggle into his cozy crib and drift off to dreamland. But tonight, Mama had other plans.

“Come on, Leo, it’s time for some training!” Mama said gently, picking him up from his crib.

Leo blinked in confusion. Training? But it’s bedtime! He pouted, wanting to cry, but Mama’s warm smile made him curious.

“You’re growing up, my little star,” she whispered. “We need to practice rolling over, holding your bottle, and maybe even a little tummy time before bed.”

Leo let out a tiny whimper. He wasn’t in the mood for practice—he just wanted to snuggle and sleep! But Mama was determined. She placed him on his soft blanket and encouraged him to roll over.

“You can do it, Leo!” she cheered softly.

Leo tried, but his body felt heavy with sleepiness. He managed to roll halfway before plopping back onto his back with a tiny sigh.

Mama giggled. “Almost there! Let’s try again.”

Leo grumbled, his tiny fists rubbing his eyes. He wiggled a little and, with one last effort, flipped all the way onto his tummy. Mama clapped her hands softly.

“There you go! See? You’re getting stronger!”

Leo wasn’t sure if he liked this training session. His eyelids were drooping, and he let out a soft, sleepy babble. Mama noticed and smiled.

“Alright, my love. You’ve done so well. Now it’s time for some cuddles.”

She picked him up, rocking him gently in her arms. The warmth of her embrace and the soft humming of a lullaby made Leo feel safe and happy. He nuzzled against her, his tiny breaths slowing down.

As his eyes finally closed, he thought, Maybe training isn’t so bad… as long as there are cuddles afterward.

And with that, Baby Leo drifted into a peaceful sleep, dreaming of rolling over like a champion.
